Special Order Chitimachi Toe-Pincher Coffin
This special order coffin was made for a member of the Chitimachi reservation in Louisiana. Made of
cypress wood it is stained in the colors of the Chitimachi -- black, red and yellow. The large eagle feather
on the lid is carved of poplar wood and handpainted. The handles are also painted eagle feathers.
